False Testimony is a story-driven fantasy detective game focused on interrogation, logic, and deduction. You play as a detective whose job is to deal with situations that are convenient to blame on coincidence — where there is no obvious crime, no confession, and no single place where "everything happened".

You visit different locations, talk to people, study the environment, and collect clues. Each conversation adds information, and each location reveals details you need to connect. People describe events from their own perspectives, leaving you to distinguish what happened from how they interpret it.

There are no loud revelations or dramatic scenes; the truth emerges gradually from access, timing, sequences of actions, and small inconsistencies. To reach the right conclusion, you need to understand the full picture: who did it, how it was done, and what the motive was.
